Rachel received her BA Hons degree in Contemporary dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire before running away to India to pursue her developing yoga practice. In 2013, Rachel received her 200 hour Yoga teacher training and later in 2015, her 500 hour Advanced Yoga Teacher training from the Himalayan Yoga Institute. Then in 2016, Rachel added Pilates level 3 qualification to her repertoire and became Lead Instructor at 2 barre studios for Barrecore in London. In early 2018, Rachel was certified in pregnancy, post-natal, baby yoga and massage, which was advantageous as she had already fallen pregnant! After 8 years spent in London studying and working as a fitness professional, Rachel returned to the Northeast to become a very lucky Mama to her beautiful daughter, Luna in June 2018.
Rachel loves helping people to feel happier and healthier in their mind, body and soul. Since becoming a parent she is particularly interested in holding space for women on their journey into motherhood. Rachel's practice is very much a fusion of her fluid dance and formal yoga training, encouraging students to dance through their practice and feel the deliciousness of being in one's body whilst liberating the spirit from the mundane of the mind.
